At Tara Dobrec Designs, our mission is simple; to create spaces that delight our clients. Tara brings with her a deep understanding of the design process. With an extensive 25-year background in both design and project management, she is well-versed in the process of taking ideas and making them a reality for her clients.

Her work has an aesthetic that is polished and refined, yet effortless. Tara’s design sensibility is a modern take on traditional style —gravitating towards classic silhouettes and timeless pieces paired with a touch of glamour and an infusion of color. 

Through her design approach, and distinct eye for style, Tara is able to create comfortable, luxurious spaces reflective of her client’s tastes, interests, and lifestyles; while also incorporating form and function. Tara believes that the most beautiful interiors are personal and highly usable.

Tara strives to build relationships with clients and create interiors that stimulate both visual and tactile senses. We work with our clients to experiment with color, texture, and materials. Layers transform any space and make it feel aesthetically pleasing and complete. She transforms rooms into very personal, highly individual, and invitingly comfortable spaces — the direct result of creative focus and meticulous planning.

Second only to her passion for design, is a passion for travel, which allows for a heightened awareness of regional trends and styles that help to inform her designs. Tara’s diverse body of work is a testimony to her ability to help her client’s visions come to fruition.
